# A quick review before your post goes live

Review the suggestion before keeping it. You decide what goes into your post.

## Start with the point you want to make.

Read the draft once without editing. Could you explain its main point in one sentence? If the opening promises a lesson but the rest gives a general update, decide which idea matters and remove the detour.

Give the draft something specific: a decision you made, an example you can explain, or a detail from your own work. AI can help shape the wording; your experience gives the post a reason to exist.

## Check what you would put your name to.

Look for numbers, product claims, quotations and confident statements. Verify each one against your source, or remove it. A smooth sentence is not evidence, and an invented example should not read like a customer result.

Read the wording aloud. Replace phrases you would never say, soften claims that go further than your evidence, and keep the useful detail. When you use an AI editing suggestion in Posthut, review the proposed change before keeping it.

## Review each destination separately.

A caption that works on one platform may need a different opening or length elsewhere. Edit each version and use the live preview to check its shape. Confirm that any image supports the caption and meets the destination’s requirements.
